Genetic epidemiology
Melandra are presently working with the University of Manchester
and Microsoft to speed up the analysis of large amounts
of genetic data for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis. At the moment, it takes
months or years to crunch the numbers for large studies. We've helped to design and build
a system that reduces that time to days, speeding up the search for causes and potential
treatments for these problems.

in their fields from the Microsoft Technology Centre and three
University of Manchester Departments. Even in a project involving world
